Next, we continue south to the fortified village (ksar) of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its appearance in films like The Mummy, Obelix, Gladiator, The Jewel of the Nile, and Sahara. We’ll stop for photos or a brief visit.

Along the way, we’ll make stops to soak in the panoramic vistas and capture the beauty of Berber villages nestled in the landscape.
Our adventure continues to Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1986. This iconic location has served as the backdrop for many famous films, including Game of Thrones, Gladiator, The Jewel of the Nile, and The Mummy.
We’ll proceed to Ouarzazate, often known as the “Gateway to the Desert,” cherished for its serene ambiance. In Berber, Ouarzazate translates to “noiseless.” During our visit, we’ll explore the remarkable Taourirt Kasbah, one of Morocco’s architectural gems.
