Day 1: Fes ~ Ifrane ~ Azrou ~ Midelt ~ Erfoud ~ Merzouga ~ Erg Chebbi

On the first day of our 3 days tour from Fes to Merzouga, our driver will pick you up from your hotel or riad in Fes early in the morning as we head south in Morocco. Our journey begins with a brief stop in Ifrane, often referred to as the “Small Switzerland of Morocco,” where you can appreciate its beauty and capture some memorable photographs. From there, we’ll continue on to Azrou to see monkeys in the cedar forest and proceed to Midelt for lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, our route takes us through the Tiz N’Talghamt pass, offering breathtaking views of the Ziz gorges. Later, we’ll pause to admire the panoramic vista of the Ziz valley. We’ll then continue our drive to the Erg Chebbi Dunes, passing through Aoufous and Erfoud, renowned for its fossils and dates. If you’re interested, you can visit a local fossil craft workshop in Erfoud. Finally, we’ll reach the enchanting Erg Chebbi Dunes, also known as Merzouga Dunes. You’ll arrive at your hotel or riad, where you’ll enjoy dinner and spend your first night.

On the second day of our 3 days tour from Fes to Merzouga, after breakfast at your hotel or riad, you’ll embark on a comfortable car or minivan tour to explore the dunes. Mounted on your dromedary, you’ll journey to the desert camp, where you’ll spend the night in a traditional desert setting. Dinner and accommodation will be provided in a bivouac.

On the final day of our 3 days Fes to Merzouga desert tour, you’ll wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise from the Sahara desert dunes, followed by breakfast. After these memorable moments, you’ll ride camels back to the starting point where you’ll meet your driver.
